Who we are
What we believe
Skylands’ core beliefs guide our business and every client engagement.
We believe that our relationship extends beyond providing coverage to include ongoing service, whether that means anticipating and adapting to a client’s changing needs, assisting in claims or collaborating with a client’s larger financial planning team.
We believe in doing good for our clients and our community. We define community in the broadest sense, meaning we are committed to contributing our energies and financial support to causes we are passionate about.
Skylands Insurance Group Merger
We are excited to announce our merger with Milton M. Levey & Co., a family-owned insurance agency established in 1933, specializing in personal and business insurance. Michael Levey joined the family business in 1972 and carried on the tradition of personalized customer service and long standing relationships. This philosophy is a key component of Skylands Insurance and we look forward to continuing Milton M. Levey & Co.’s legacy.
Please contact us with any questions about this merger. We are looking forward to working with you.
SERVICES

BACK
Skylands Insurance Group is committed to contributing to the communities where we live, work and beyond. We show that commitment by supporting the programs and causes that matter to our employees and our clients. Below is a incomplete list of issues that we are particularly involved with:
Caldwell University – Rhonda Graber is a member of the University board of directors at this Catholic liberal arts university in Caldwell, NJ. Rhonda’s involvement with the school also includes management of a scholarship fund she established in 2016.
Seton Hall Leadership Development Advisory Council – Rhonda Graber is a member of this Council of corporate executives, entrepreneurs and community leaders who advise on the curriculum and learning experience of the school’s leadership program. In addition, Rhonda mentors students in Seton Hall’s Stillman Business School.
Valerie Fund – The Valerie Fund supports children with cancer and blood disorders since 1976.
Growing Stage – a non-profit professional performing arts center dedicated to theatre for young audiences. The Growing Stage has been the recipient of the Skylands Holiday Donation for the past few years.
Black Lives Matter – Acts of injustice against Black Americans have motivated Americans across the country to speak up and commit to finding lasting solutions. Skylands stands in solidarity against racism and pledges to support equal rights for all.
COVID-19 – In an effort to support essential workers in our communities, Skylands donated supplies and meals to area hospitals. We also strived to help our fellow businesses and citizens through purchases and donations.
Please ask any Skylands Group representative if you would like to learn more about any of these organizations.

TESTIMONIALS
Susan
“My husband and I moved all our home and car insurance to Skylands a few years ago and they found us much better coverage at a very competitive rate. We have had a great experience working with the Skylands team.”
Kris
“Great to work with. Always there for me when I have a question or something related to my policies needs to get done. I have been with larger insurance firms and they don’t even compare when it comes to customer service. I am very happy to be with Skylands for both my personal and business.”
Pete
“I’m so impressed with Skylands. They really do it all.”
